Bamboo is a material with natural variation, such as lighter or darker wood grain. The Bamboo sheet is made of five layers of veneer (thin slice of wood). The bamboo joints are visible on the surface and break up the grain creating a unique appearance. Bamboo is 100% renewable and sustainable. Thickness is about 2.7 mm (0.106 in), but it may vary from a sheet to another, our manufacturer tolerance is as follows: 2.5 - 3.2mm. Walnut Premium Veneer has an MDF core with real wood veneer (thin slice of wood) on each side which is sanded smooth and finished with a clear coat. It has a high grade appearance, the grain direction will change the overall appearance depending on the light direction. Thickness is about 3.5 mm (0.137 in), but may vary from a sheet to another, our manufacturer tolerance is as follows: 3.0 - 4.0mm).
